Chris Ray

Chief Information Security Officer

Chris Ray is Epsilon's Chief Information Security Officer and is responsible for overall Information Security, including security policy, regulatory compliance, technical controls, and identity management for Epsilon and its affiliates. Chris oversees enforcement of all Information Security policies, posture and user awareness levels. As CISO, Chris drives the overall direction of Epsilon's Information Security architecture and manages the ongoing execution of the security operations center in Information Technology areas.

Chris has over 14 years of government and commercial IT security experience. He joined Epsilon in 2012 from Aflac Incorporated, where he served as Second VP of Information Technology Security and Software Configuration Management. During his time at Aflac, Chris was responsible for all US IT security operations, disaster recovery planning and infrastructure and application production elevations. In 2011, he was named Information Security Executive® of the Year for the Southeast region.

Prior to Aflac, Chris was Director, Information Security at HealthSouth Corporation. He spent twenty years in the United States Air Force, active duty and reserves, serving primarily in the information warfare arena.

Chris earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
