Epsilon grows strategic division in EMEA

Regional rollout to bolster client-focused strategy and solutions

Through on and offline data analysis, market research and competitor analysis, SACG devises bespoke, actionable, integrated online strategies and makes practical recommendations that improve and optimise the customer experience.

Two key senior SACG appointments in EMEA reflect the importance the team will play across the region, In the UK, Simeon Lando has been appointed to head of consulting for the EMEA group, while Erik von Duehren oversees the SACG operation in Germany.

Simeon Lando said: “Consumers are increasingly able to choose to engage with brands, and expect a more personal and authentic experience. However, many companies don’t have the required experience to engage customers from the outset. SACG’s role is to advise on long-term strategy to optimise revenue opportunities across the entire customer lifecycle.”

While client demand is largely driving the expansion, the initiative represents another stage in Epsilon’s evolution as it continues to progress as a leading marketing services provider to one that offers a full suite of digital, database, mobile, email, analytic and consulting solutions.

Jon Maddison, Country Director, Epsilon UK, said: “Now, more than ever, marketers have to truly understand and anticipate their customers’ needs and behaviour. Capturing critical customer data is an important start but to really make use of it you need to be able to interpret and apply it correctly. Epsilon can help you achieve this.”

As SACG is able to draw on the expertise of a global specialist network, they’re able to help international companies localise communications and ultimately optimise ROI opportunities in numerous countries.

Research shows that clients working with SACG perform significantly above industry trends – as identified by Epsilon’s quarterly benchmark reports. Typically open rates are 12% above average, click rates are 30% better, and revenues per email are 34% higher.

In the past 18 months, Epsilon has been ranked as a leader by Forrester Research Inc. in both the December 2009 report: “The Forrester Wave™: Email Marketing Services Providers, Q4 2009” and the January 2011 report: “The Forrester Wave: US Database Marketing Service Providers, Q1 2011”.
