Epsilon Interactive Appoints Ted Wham Senior Vice President, General Manager European Operations
Recognized Industry Thought Leader Brings Two Decades of Email Marketing Experience
NEW YORK, NY. - June 12, 2006 - Epsilon Interactive, a leading provider of strategic, ROI-focused email communications solutions and marketing automation technologies, today announced Ted Wham has joined the company as senior vice president, general manager European operations. Reporting directly to president and CEO Al DiGuido, Wham will be responsible for managing Epsilon Interactive’s expanding European presence and client base under the Epsilon Interactive International brand name.

According to a recent report from Forrester Research, B2C Email Marketing In Europe: 2004 to 2010, October 5, 2005, the market for email services in Europe is expected to more than double in the next five years to 1.25 billion Euros. Wham brings with him a deep understanding of the industry and marketer’s needs. In his most recent post as general manager, personalized content and communication at Expedia, Inc., the largest online travel agency in the world, Wham created and oversaw the team responsible for all e-mail marketing programs. He was responsible for the strategic redesign of major communications programs, harvesting new customers, and growing and managing the technical, marketing and creative services team. Before Expedia, Wham was director, database marketing for Hotwire.com, a pure-play e-commerce travel agency owned by Expedia. During his time at Hotwire.com, Wham doubled the share of overall transactions attributable to e-mail marketing. His efforts were recognized with a Bronze award for Database Marketing Excellence by the National Center for Database Marketing. Wham has also held positions at Hewlett-Packard Company and Viacom International.
Wham holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Washington.
