Prominent Research Firm Cites Bigfoot Interactive As The Leader In Recently Released Wave™ Report "The Best Email Marketing Service Providers"

2004 Report Cites Company's Flexible Technology Platform, Integration Capabilities, Dynamic Content Tools and Thought Leadership as Drivers for Success

NEW YORK – July 1, 2004 – In the recently released report titled, "The Best Email Marketing Service Providers." (June 30th, 2004), Forrester Research selected Bigfoot Interactive as a leading email marketing service provider citing, only one vendor, Bigfoot Interactive, sits squarely in the leader category. The report, a follow up to the first Forrester Wave Report in December 2002, goes on to further recognize Bigfoot Interactive's leader position with such citations as Bigfoot Interactive offers the most comprehensive technology platform, complemented with a strong mix of technology integration and marketing services.

The review included an evaluation of 13 email marketing service providers selected from an initial field of 43 based on their revenue, features, market presence, or business strategy. The evaluation process included a comprehensive assessment of each vendors offering across more than 88 different criteria as well as a technology demonstration, review of supporting documentation and in-depth interviews with key executives and reference customers. Evaluation criteria included: Breadth of Offering, Functionality, Technology Platform, Services and Support, Cost, Strength of Management Team, Executive Vision, Product Road Map, Legal/Regulatory Issues, Vertical Strategy, Financial Viability, Partnerships and more. Email Marketing Service Providers were then ranked across four categories (Leaders, Strong Performers, Contenders and Risky Bets) to create the comprehensive market landscape.

After the comprehensive review process, Bigfoot Interactive was placed in the leader category with top marks for its querying and segmentation, scheduling, event triggering, profile management, flexibility and integration capabilities, and legal/regulatory expertise. Among the scoring details, Forrester Research made the following comments about Bigfoot Interactive and its respective DREAM(sm) platform:

  • Although most vendors still offer a range of services, only Bigfoot Interactive focuses its efforts equally across all four service offerings (Self-service ASP, A la carte ASP, Collaborative ASP, Agency).
