Leading Grocer Selects Bigfoot Interactive As Strategic Email Communications Provider

Food Lion Chooses DREAMSM ASP Platform & Delivery Optimization Services To Strengthen Customer Relationships And Return On Investment

NEW YORK– July 6, 2004 – Bigfoot Interactive, the leading provider of strategic, ROI-focused email communication solutions and marketing automation technologies, announced today Food Lion LLC, a grocery chain operating more than 1,200 stories and subsidiary of Delhaize America (NYSE: DEG), has selected Bigfoot Interactive to provide email communications solutions for ongoing customer retention and coupon incentive efforts. Email communications is an extension of Food Lion's customer relationship management program to drive loyalty and satisfaction with consistent delivery of relevant, targeted content and e-coupons. Food Lion will use Bigfoot Interactive's DREAM (Direct Response Email Applications Manager) ASP technology platform.
