NEW YORK – December 7, 2004 – Bigfoot Interactive, the leading provider of strategic, ROI-focused email communications solutions and marketing automation technologies, today announced the appointment of Jordan Cohen to the newly created position of director of ISP and government relations. In this post, Cohen will focus on deliverability optimization initiatives for Bigfoot Interactive's expanding Fortune 2000 client base. He joins Bigfoot Interactive from the Direct Marketing Association (The DMA) where he managed public policy and served as a spokesperson on a variety of direct and interactive marketing issues. Cohen's broad exposure in the public sector will further amplify Bigfoot Interactive's voice and thought leadership in the email industry as he works with ISPs, industry associations, legislators and third party organizations on creating and implementing solutions that help optimize email delivery for reputable, permission-based marketers.

"We've brought Jordan on board to work alongside the management team to lead our clients and the industry through the many issues that have surfaced around email," said Al DiGuido, CEO of Bigfoot Interactive. "The addition of Jordan further enhances our privacy and ISP relations team and strengthens our ability to proactively inform and educate our clients on delivery optimization best practices, changing ISP requirements and legislative, authentication, accreditation and reputation developments. We're impressed by Jordan's skills and success in liaisoning with policy makers. He is a clear communicator with a perspective that has allowed him to view the bigger issues from all sides and nurture ties to email's key constituents."

As the Director of ISP and Government Relations, Cohen will build and manage a comprehensive ISP/government affairs program for Bigfoot Interactive. Issues relating to spam such as CAN SPAM compliance and emerging authentication/accreditation standards, spyware, corporate governance, privacy, security and deliverability will be his priority in 2005.

"Throughout the evolution of email, Bigfoot Interactive has remained active and vocal on a number of critical fronts," said Cohen. "I am thrilled to join a team of recognized thought leaders and to take hold of a role that gives exposure to the vision, passion and influence of those who continue to champion the effectiveness of email communications. Through technology enhancements and efforts to educate, Bigfoot Interactive has navigated the twists and turns in the email landscape with real agility and continues to play a leadership role in shaping tomorrow's email standards."

At The DMA, Cohen served as manager of public policy where he managed communications with members, press and other critical stakeholders supporting the organization's public policy agenda and positions. Prior to joining The DMA, Cohen worked in corporate communications for UBS, the global financial services firm. Cohen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, and has completed Masters courses in Media Studies at New York University in New York, NY.
