WAKEFIELD, MASS. – October 25, 2005 –
Epsilon, a leading provider of multi-channel marketing services, technologies and database solutions, today announced the appointment of Michael Lavoie to the position of executive vice president, commercial client services. In his new role, Lavoie will be responsible for leading and servicing the company's growing blue-chip client base and will work closely with those clients to support their multi-channel marketing programs across Epsilon's expanding product and service offering. Lavoie will be based in Epsilon's Wakefield office and will report directly to president and CEO, Michael Iaccarino.
The appointment comes on the heels of Epsilon's recent merger with Bigfoot Interactive (now Epsilon Interactive) and several other executive appointments resulting from that merger, including Al DiGuido to the post of executive vice president, sales and marketing, Michael Della Penna, CMO, and Ragy Thomas, senior vice president, strategic product development. Lavoie will also work closely with Al DiGuido, who also serves as president and CEO of Epsilon Interactive and the Epsilon Interactive client services organization on all client opportunities and support processes.
"Epsilon's success has been fueled by the unique contributions, talent, and experience demonstrated by our people and leadership team," said Michael Iaccarino, president and CEO of Epsilon. "The addition of Lavoie to the executive team and the continued build-out of the commercial client services organization will further strengthen and accelerate Epsilon's ability to be at the forefront in developing strategic, client-centric marketing solutions that help marketers further optimize their customer relationships and marketing ROI."
Lavoie brings more than 18 years of marketing, sales, client management and strategy experience to his new role at Epsilon. Prior to joining Epsilon, Lavoie worked at Juniper Bank as senior vice president, partnership development, where he was responsible for leading a team of professionals focusing on analyzing marketing opportunities and fostering successful relationships with partnership organizations. Lavoie also served 10 years in a variety of sales positions at American Express. During his tenure, Lavoie achieved the ES Excellence Award, a top honor given only to the top one percent of a division based upon performance.
"It is an exciting time for marketers as they look to leverage customer data, knowledge and technology to be increasingly relevant and successful with their multi-channel marketing efforts," said Lavoie. "I look forward to helping our clients identify the trends and opportunities that will positively impact their marketing initiatives and continuing Epsilon's strong tradition of exceptional service tailored to each client's unique needs."
