Marketing Services; Wins Coveted Gold MAXI Awards

- Epsilon, a leading relationship marketing company, today announced that it was recognized as among the best relationship marketing firms in the country by the highly regarded Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW). Epsilon was touted by the DMAW for three standout campaigns, including two gold awards for fundraising clients. The winning projects were for some of the country’s most distinguished nonprofit institutions, such as the San Diego Zoo and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Epsilon received gold awards for the firm’s work with the National Multiple Sclerosis Association and the Zoological Society of San Diego. The "Most Colorful Characters" campaign for the San Diego Zoo resulted in a 12 percent increase in responses, with a 14 percent drop in cost per response and 11 percent more new members than previous campaigns. The "Gears in Motion" campaign demonstrated the effectiveness of combined efforts from Epsilon and the National Multiple Sclerosis Association over a tight-knit 18-year relationship. A silver award was given for Epsilon’s work with Sandial.
The DMAW annually receives more than 200 nominations for awards in 13 categories. A panel of 20 marketing experts determined the winners, announced at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on May 5, 2004.
