Industry Veterans Keith Morrow and Chris Ray Join Epsilon
New Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer to Support Future Expansion; Enhance IT Strategy, Security and Infrastructure
DALLAS, TEXAS — January 18, 2012 — Epsilon, the industry's leading marketing services firm, today announced that Keith Morrow has joined as EVP and Chief Information Officer, and Chris Ray has joined as Chief Information Security Officer, both reporting to Bryan Kennedy, President and CEO of Epsilon.
In this new role, Mr. Morrow will be responsible for all of Epsilon's IT systems globally, overseeing a staff of over two hundred technology professionals. His responsibilities include driving IT strategy and the execution of all Epsilon infrastructure and production support functions, which provide the foundation for the company's client service offerings. Morrow will partner with internal client teams throughout the business development, delivery and support process to ensure the effective implementation and optimization of client solutions.
According to Kennedy, "Keith has a strong track record of successfully developing and implementing complex, client-facing systems and delivering IT strategies that support the goals of the business, and the needs of clients. He is an accomplished technology executive and we are thrilled to have him lead the effort to drive the shared services initiatives within our growth strategy. He will oversee our client platforms and global infrastructure, to ensure that our clients are able to connect with their customers each and every day across the world's leading marketing technology platforms."
Prior to Epsilon, Morrow was founder of K. Morrow Associates, an IT effectiveness consultancy, helping clients improve their e-Commerce capabilities and overall IT effectiveness. He has served previously as CIO at Blockbuster Inc. and 7-Eleven, Inc. during which time he ranked on CIO Magazine's CIO 100 three years in a row. He has been recognized as a winner of the InfoWorld 100 by InfoWorld, Power 50 by Executive Technology, Premier 100 IT Leaders by Computerworld and was inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame by CIO Magazine. Morrow has been a member of the Board of Directors for the State of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) since 2004.
As Chief Information Security Officer, a new role at Epsilon, Chris Ray will have enterprise-wide responsibility for information security and regulatory compliance, including policy, procedures and guidelines for Epsilon and its affiliates. Chris will also have overall responsibility for security risk management functions. He will drive the direction of the information security architecture and manage the ongoing execution of applications, data protection, voice and data communications systems as well as all information security systems monitoring, analysis, detection and incident response processes.

Chris joins Epsilon from Aflac Incorporated where he was Second Vice President of Information Technology Security and Software Configuration Management, responsible for all U.S. IT security operations, disaster recovery planning and infrastructure and application production elevations. In 2011, he was named Information Security Executive® of the Year for the Southeast region. Prior to Aflac, Chris was Director, Information Security at HealthSouth Corporation. He spent twenty years in the United States Air Force, active duty and reserves, serving primarily in the information warfare arena.
