Epsilon Appoints Steve Cone Chief Marketing Officer
DALLAS, January 7, 2008 — Epsilon, a leading provider of multi-channel, data-driven marketing technologies and services, today announced that industry veteran and noted author Steve Cone has been appointed chief marketing officer. Cone previously served as executive vice president, strategic marketing services, and will continue to work directly with clients to design, implement, measure and optimize multi-channel marketing programs. As CMO, Cone will also lead all of Epsilon's strategic marketing, branding, lead generation, events, corporate communications and external relations initiatives.

Cone was one of Epsilon's original employees, first working at the firm in the 1970's during its early days pioneering database marketing. Widely considered a leading authority on consumer marketing, Cone is author of the best-selling "Steal These Ideas: Marketing Secrets That Will Make You a Star," and a highly acclaimed lecturer. His second book, "Powerlines: Words That Sell Brands, Grip Fans, and Sometimes Change History," will be published in April 2008.
