Epsilon's first annual New Grad Day

On Thursday, November 13 we celebrate the global New Grad community here at Epsilon! The New Grad Program, a one-year program for recent college graduates, helps develop college to corporate skills while providing networking, mentorship and training opportunities alongside their role. While the program has been running since 2011, Epsilon celebrates its first annual New Grad Day!

Throughout the duration of the program, New Grads have the opportunity to connect with leaders, engage with professional development training, and create community with other current and alumni New Grad cohorts. The program is designed for New Grads to receive robust support from the Early Careers Team, managers, mentors, and others around the business. New Grad Day, created by Epsilon, aims to highlight the success of each individual New Grad for their hard work, impact, and energy they bring to Epsilon!

The celebration, in the US, will kick off with Quinn Leary joining as a guest speaker to share about her time within the Epsilon Early Careers Programs and her role as a Lead, Digital Solutions Consultant based in New York. Quinn began her time with Epsilon in the summer of 2018 as a Digital Client Services Intern. Upon graduation she joined the summer New Grad cohort in 2019. As a Lead, Digital Solutions Consultant, she works on the McDonalds account running campaigns, partnering with other agencies and building out digital components. While every day is different, Quinn's role allows her to collaborate across the Groupe to learn more and widen the breath of her skills.

In preparation for New Grad Day, Quinn shared about her internship experience, how the New Grad Program impacted her and what her role looks like now.

Q: What led you to accept a full time offer from Epsilon?

A: As someone who likes to learn being hands on, there were many opportunities from the beginning to do so. That was a huge bonus to me. In my internship days, I got to work with interesting clients, like McJunior for example, that gave me great experience. The interesting content on top of having hands-on independent work, made me come back to Epsilon full time.

Q: How did the New Grad Program impact your time at Epsilon, especially transitioning from college to a corporate setting?

A: First and foremost, I think that having a New Grad Program where you’re starting with a group of your peers is huge because then you bounce things off of people. You find friends right away when coming out of college into the corporate world and you are the youngest person on your team, so it’s nice to have that camaraderie.

Q: A pillar of the program is providing training in your first weeks as a New Grad. How did the training help you succeed in the beginning and presently in your role?

A: The trainings were super helpful, and I think public speaking was one of the biggest things that I was most concerned about actually coming into this job. So, to receive training that coaches you through that was helpful. Now all I do is presentations, and it just really prepares you for all of those soft skills you’ll need to have.

As part of our New Grad Day festivities, McDonald’s classics are paired with the celebration to compliment the impactful work Quinn has done in her role. New Grad Day is more than just delightful snacks; it is a day dedicated to celebrating the vibrant New Grad community at Epsilon. Our New Grads bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a dynamic energy. Their hard work and creativity continue to drive Epsilon’s progress and inspire us all.

Here’s to the promising future they are shaping at Epsilon—one that is brighter because of their remarkable impact. We are proud to honor our New Grads and eagerly anticipate the continued success they will achieve.
