Epsilon/Conversant Chief Privacy Officer Noga Rosenthal Joins IAPP Advisory Board

DALLAS – April 10, 2018 – Epsilon®, a global leader in creating connections between people and brands, today announced that Chief Privacy Officer Noga Rosenthal has been elected to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Women Leading Privacy Advisory Board. Rosenthal will serve on the board for a two-year term that began in January 2018.

The IAPP’s Women Leading Privacy Advisory Board provides guidance and strategic input for IAPP, the world’s largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource, on programming and content that helps to advance and support the needs of women in the privacy field. Founded in 2000, the IAPP is a not-for-profit organization that helps define, support and improve the privacy profession globally, providing a forum for privacy professionals to share best practices, track trends, advance privacy management issues, standardize the designations for privacy professionals and provide education. The IAPP is responsible for developing and launching the only globally recognized credentialing programs in information privacy: the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and the Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT). In addition, the IAPP offers a full suite of educational and professional development services, also holding annual conferences that are recognized internationally as the leading forums for the discussion and debate of issues related to privacy policy and practice.

As Chief Privacy Officer at Epsilon, Rosenthal oversees all privacy-related activities for Epsilon and its digital media arm Conversant, including the global development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures covering the privacy of online and offline consumer data. Her responsibilities include ensuring compliance with various self-regulatory regimes as well as domestic state and federal laws and regulations and those of foreign jurisdictions. Rosenthal guides and advocates on behalf of Epsilon’s internal teams, partners and clients to support industry self-regulation, responsible privacy practices, as well as consumer awareness, transparency and choice. She actively represents Epsilon across committees and boards including as a Board Member of the Network Advertising Initiative, the Advisory Board of the Digital Advertising Alliance and the legal affairs and public policy committee of the Interactive Advertising Bureau of the U.S. She is also a member of the Future of Privacy Forum. Prior to Epsilon, Rosenthal served as General Counsel and Vice President for Compliance and Policy for the NAI.
