Ric Elert

Ric Elert is currently the President, Chief Operating Officer of Epsilon. He is responsible for leading Epsilon’s business operations across the company’s Data, Digital Media and Technology offerings as well as guiding the company’s corporate and product strategies. As advertisers face growing complexity and increased scrutiny, Ric works closely with the C-suite to help them navigate the digital ad world so brands can deliver personalized experiences to customers at scale. He joined Epsilon back in 2009, when we were pioneering the personalized media space as Dotomi and well before “personalization” became the industry buzzword that it is today. Since then, he has played an integral role in the company’s growth and three acquisitions by ValueClick (2011), Alliance Data (2014) and Publicis Groupe (2019). Prior to joining Epsilon, Ric was Executive Vice President of Engineering at comScore, Inc. As one of the company’s original technology team leaders, he oversaw the development and management of comScore’s global enterprise technology, which scaled to support billions of online transactions. Ric started his career at IRI, where he spent nearly eight years, first in application support and then building prototypes of new products. Before leaving, Ric created the company’s New Technology group and built multiple data-generation and data-delivery systems. Outside of the office, you can find him spending time with my wife and kids or working with my hands, restoring cars and playing in the corporate band.
