In late April, Epsilon announced a corporate partnership with Habitat for Humanity, a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and approximately 70 countries. Habitat’s vision is "a world where everyone has a decent place to live."
This partnership provides Epsilon an opportunity to act on our mission to create cycles of change in the communities we live and work in through volunteering with local Habitat chapters. To date, Epsilon employees from the Irving, Westminster, Chicago, Detroit, Boston and Wakefield offices have volunteered their time to build and make repairs in their respective communities.
Our team in Irving worked together in the Wall Shop at the Habitat for Humanity Dallas headquarters, to build exterior wall framing. During the summer months (and heat in Texas!), the Wall Shop is used to create wall framing in advance of future builds. The walls our Epsilon group built will be used this fall by one of our clients, on an upcoming home build in a south Dallas neighborhood.

Volunteers were encouraged to write notes on the building materials to the family who will soon live in the home, so Epsilon truly made a permanent mark on this home.
Our Westminster, CO team came together in Denver, CO to help make home repairs. Team Westminster worked together on a new fence for a South Denver homeowner.

Additionally, Chicago office colleagues traveled south to the West Pullman neighborhood for a Habitat build. The group split to work on multiple sites to complete a variety of tasks like landscaping, siding installation, tile work and garage framing.
Team Chicago before the heat and hard work began:
Despite the July heat, Team Chicago made great progress on a few homes in the same neighborhood.
Our Boston and Wakefield, MA offices teamed up to help support an ongoing build in Malden, MA. Epsilon colleagues worked together on building the framing of a group of 5 townhomes.
The heatwave Team Chicago worked through must have made its way to Boston because Team Boston and Wakefield hammered away in high temperatures.
Most recently, Epsilon Southfield and Troy colleagues came out for our Habitat for Humanity Oakland County Rock the Block event where the group helped tame local wildlife by landscaping homes in a Southfield, MI neighborhood, making an impact in our community and taking part in the Habitat for Humanity Neighborhood Revitalization program.
We are thrilled with the work that has taken place so far with these builds and the impact we are able to make through this partnership. We look forward to our continued work with Habitat for Humanity and helping the communities we live and work with.
