Epsilon Welcomes Susan Rothwell as Chief Revenue Officer

Rothwell joins Epsilon as the company’s first chief revenue officer

Industry veteran will lead client-facing teams across Epsilon’s adtech, martech and data offerings

Epsilon, a global advertising and marketing technology company and part of Publicis Groupe (Euronext Paris FR0000130577, CAC 40), today announced the hiring of industry veteran Susan Rothwell as the company’s first chief revenue officer. With more than 27 years of experience in sales and marketing, Rothwell will lead the company’s client-facing teams to maximize the value Epsilon delivers brands, agencies and publishers through technology, data and digital campaign activation across the open web. Rothwell will also work closely with Epsilon’s executive leadership team to build on the company’s 2022 success, which included 14% organic growth in both Q2 and Q3 2022, through an evolved go-to-market strategy and increased alignment with other Publicis Groupe agencies.

Rothwell joins Epsilon from marketing company Vericast where she held the same title since 2019. There, she focused on performance, strategy and alignment of the company’s revenue operations, driving $2.5B in profitable revenue. In addition, Rothwell was responsible for leading Vericast’s sales teams, including the integration and structure of all sales divisions across the organization, as well as leading company strategy to align with the changing business and client environment. Rothwell successfully led print and digital sales teams during her 15+ years at Vericast, resulting in large sales wins and double-digit growth. She was also instrumental in spearheading several initiatives and training for the sales organization.

Prior to Vericast, Rothwell held leadership roles at the Polaroid Corporation in sales, new business development, partner relations, training and marketing.

Rothwell holds a B.S. from La Salle University and has participated in Harvard Business School Executive Education Programs. She is a strong advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, and works with NextUp and various organizations to promote women in leadership.
