In July 2021, Publicis Groupe acquired CitrusAd, a SaaS platform that optimizes the marketing performance of brands directly on e-commerce sites, with the goal of combining CitrusAd with Epsilon's CORE ID to create the first retail media offer based on identity. We believe the recognitions of both CitrusAd and Epsilon in The Forrester Wave™: Sell-Side Retail Media Solutions, Q3 2021, indicate that our combined forces can help brands seize the retail media limelight.

In the report, Epsilon was named a Strong Performer and received the highest score possible in the following criteria: off-site advertising inventory, identity solutions, omnichannel measurement, and innovation roadmap. CitrusAd, named a Leader, received the highest score possible in the criteria on-site monetization, omnichannel measurement, and reporting, model and market approach.
