Epsilon works the world: Part 2

In January 2022, Publicis Groupe rolled out its Work Your World program, allowing employees to work anywhere in the world for up to six weeks every year. Check out part one of Epsilon works the world to read more about how Epsilon employees have been spending their time abroad.

We wanted to share more about this life-changing benefit, so here are a few more inspiring stories and photos from Epsilon colleagues working their world and what the program offered for their work-life balance!

WYW Alexandra Thanopoulos“My family is from Greece and growing up I used to spend the summers there with them going to the islands or the villages and truly enjoying the culture and the food. This year after getting engaged my fiancée and I decided that Greece would be the best place, and the most memorable area to get married. When I found out about the Work Your World program, I thought this would be the best opportunity for me to not only travel and work, but to plan my destination wedding. I spent two weeks in Greece and worked EST time, by doing this it was easier for me to set up appointments in the morning and work later in the evening. Being able to work anywhere was so refreshing and I was able to enjoy time with family and plan my dream wedding and I am so thankful for this program.”

"My mother’s parents emigrated from Ilha de Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal a hundred plus years ago and my time on the island opened me up to their lives and the reason behind some of my mother’s traits. Her recipes, her love for flowers, her love of nature and her fierce independence were all passed to her children, instilled into our genes by a sub-tropical island in the Atlantic. Working from the Azores meant working late hours, but my work was not affected – as I was part of a team that closed a major account while I was on the island. A sole celebration of Vinho Verde that night!”

Claudia Schwagele – Paris, France

“Work your World is great because it allows me to work abroad while still being able to see friends, participate in family events without sacrificing all my PTO. This is a true advantage for my work life balance! Here is one of my favorite pictures of my stay in France: having lunchbreak with a friend at the beach!”
